I was thinking of something like the drumbit.app drum machine site, where it has the 16 columns with each instrument marking beat 1, 2, 3 and 4, and you can adjust BPM and swing and etc. The downside of this site is that you can only use the built in samples. - Source: Reddit / 9 days ago
Play with drum machine beats or loops instead. There are websites like https://drumbit.app/ where you can set the tempo and customize the beat as much or as little as you like; others use YouTube to find loops to play in time with. - Source: Reddit / 24 days ago
I've been using weird old TV commercials (since I particularly like abusing those) but there's no reason this couldn't be atempted with any video you wish. All the originals used here were found on YouTube, and links to them appear in the video descriptions. Play around with something like https://drumbit.app/. It might help you see drum patterns a little easier. Sequencing drums isn't hard and it doesn't require a ton of indepth knowledge. Hydrogen (http://hydrogen-music.org/): mapped correctly by default, but only lets you record one pattern at a time! If this worked I might have been able to export the MIDI to a more full-featured DAW for further production, but I didn't really want to live that life if I didn't have to. Next one. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago
Setups for professional music production. This usually requires JACK (https://jackaudio.org/) as audio server, which allows synchronizing and connecting multiple applications. For example, you can have Ardour (https://ardour.org/) as DAW, but use another application like Hydrogen (http://hydrogen-music.org/) for creating drum samples. JACK connects the two applications using a virtual patchbay that allows using... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
