The line visuals at the bottom are not using Mapbox. Rather they're using the open source Kepler.gl [0], (a user-friendly wrapping of the deck.gl library [1]). The title speaks for itself lol. Currently, I am building an interactive map using mapbox and deck.gl. I needed to use deck.gl because its the only react friendly library. Thanks for the help everyone. After following some of the concepts all of you mentioned, I came across another tool today you might find interesting — Kaedim (https://kaedim3d.com/).
