  There are countless videos on YouTube around how they play at the tabletop, but I think the best place to start would actually be dndbeyond.com. You will be locked to the basics, but you can get an idea from character building there because you can create characters and see how stats impact rolls and explore class features.   Here's a map I made for part of the Wave Echo Cave from Lost Mines of Phandelver. I wanted the forge of spells to be more visually impactful and give combat there more options, so I elevated it on a platform. • Elemental Dungeon
