  • Map Swap - Take a map, leave a map
Here's a map I made for part of the Wave Echo Cave from Lost Mines of Phandelver. I wanted the forge of spells to be more visually impactful and give combat there more options, so I elevated it on a platform. I also had an octagonal theme going through out the dwarves architecture. Lots of fun! (Online made on dungeonscrawl.com, then drawn over in procreate). Source: over 2 years ago
  • I'm new to being a dm and could use some advice
I like WorldAnvil for content management. I don't know if that would be helpful. I also use Owlbear Rodeo for actually running maps and often Dungeon Scrawl for drawing maps. I also use the chalkboard in my garage. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Day 3 - Using DungeonScrawl.com
Oh ^^ here I used dungeonscrawl.com as mentioned in the title to create this neat dungeon :) maybe in february I switch to pen and paper ^^. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Elemental Dungeon
I drew the circles and the oval seperately then used it as a blue print on dungeonscrawl.com. Afterwards I redrew all the areas with different layers/masks to add seperate images (from the internet) as floors for each area. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • New DM looking for help
For actual dungeon MAP making, I find the website https://dungeonscrawl.com/ to be the easiest, and best to use and itโ€™s 100% free. It also works well to hand to the players so they can map out the dungeon as they go. Source: about 3 years ago
  • "First Time DM" and Other Short Questions Megathread
I use a laser printer because it's cheaper, so black and white maps only. I started off using Dyson Logos maps but now I mostly make my own using Dungeon Scrawl because it's more flexible. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Printable room tiles?
Check out https://dungeonscrawl.com/ for custom map making - you can set up your own style of map and then create like any size/shape map you could possibly want :). Source: about 3 years ago
  • "First Time DM" and Other Short Questions Megathread
I use this website to make my maps: https://dungeonscrawl.com/ Which I cut into rooms and place down on the table for my players. Source: about 3 years ago
  • Digital GMing
Personally, I use Dungeonscrawl with assets from TwoMinuteTabletop (they have free ones and paid stuff). And then I put the maps into OwlbearRodeo. Source: over 3 years ago
  • FREE Websites for useful DM tools.
Https://dungeonscrawl.com/ : Very quickly create old-school gridded dungeon maps. Free, and no sign-in needed either iirc. Source: over 3 years ago

Dungeon Scrawl makes maps that can look great in black and white. Source: over 3 years ago
  • I converted all of Dark Souls 1 into a playable 5e module (Areas, Items, Spells, and Game Mechanics)
I use dungeonscrawl.com. Very nice, very clean, and super easy to use. Would recommend though the featureset is pretty sparse as far as map tools go. Source: over 3 years ago

Https://dungeonscrawl.com/ is great for making maps for VTTs and it supports printing everything out. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Silveraxe Wilderness: Lo-fi Version
So, I made this decidedly "lo-fi" version using the Lumbia Brush Set from K.M. Alexander's site, and Dungeon Scrawl. Source: over 3 years ago
  • How the hell are you guys making battle maps?
I have done some nice ones with Dungeondraft, but I don't want to spend that amount of time every week. There are some free options like Dungeonscrawl. Source: over 3 years ago
  • I made a tool overview; to cover everything one would need to create and run your own world. (originally for a friend, but I am sure other can have use of it )
Also recommend Dungeon Scrawl for interior maps, and Wonderdraft for larger scale maps. Source: over 3 years ago
