If you're just shopping around / looking for comparatives, then sites like apartments.com, and https://sfbay.craigslist.org/ are good for getting an overview, keeping in mind they have a bit of a bias in their numbers as they only compare / show what they have so using at least two sites to get a "baseline" would be best. I’m also interested to find out if anyone has shared their listing themselves after the realtor has put it on the mls. I keep an eye on a few sites like landandfarm.com. Does anyone also list elsewhere or do you just rely on your realtor’s marketing? If you do share, do you have a preferred site? Source: about 1 year ago

First off, you need to own the land you're building on, which is not exactly easy with $0. Building anything anywhere that you do not own is trespassing and squatting, which rural communities especially hate, and will quickly launch you into being the focus of some stranger danger vibes. Sure, you can look at cheap land on landandfarm.com but the cheap stuff is cheap for a reason. Source: over 1 year ago
