Colemak VS Kinesis

Anecdotally, I gave Dvorak a try and became somewhat proficient, but ultimately reverted back to QWERTY for one reason: keyboard shortcuts! Control-C|V|Z are all transformed into either two-handed shortcuts or right-handed shortcuts. In either case, I can't copy/paste while selecting text with the mouse (since I'm right-handed). Kinesis Advantage family of ergo keebs – https://kinesis-ergo.com – I actually used one of these, albeit an older all-in-one model rather than the more modern split versions. It was the most bizarre keyboard I'd ever seen, so of course I instantly loved it. Kinesis Keyboards are pretty awesome. I've had one of their "Advantage" line, which has reverse cups under the fingers, for over 25 years. A few years ago I upgraded to their current model. They are in the process of coming out with an even newer model that is split and has the finger cups which looks pretty sweet too. Source: almost 2 years ago
