Which App is Best for Taking Notes?
In Bear, there are two types of numbering: point and number. It is possible also to mark a quote and to code if you’re interested in such stuff. Next is a paperclip, symbolizing the attachment and two arrows that allow you to undo any action or return to the recently introduced changes. What’s awesome in the app — hashtags system. When you tag your notes, #shopping, or...

Top 15 Best Evernote Alternatives You Can Use
Bear is another great note-taking app for people who don’t like to confine their notes inside a folder. Instead of using folders, Bear uses tags. And since a note can have multiple tags, it can exist in multiple locations. Bear also allows you to link notes to other notes, thereby allowing you to create wiki-style notes.

Evernote Reviews

  1. Intuitive Software

The thing that I personally like about Evernote is that before I have used word as my note taking application, than on my smartphone I have had used Google Keep and so my notes were just unorganized mess. But with Evernote now I can have my notes at one place and unified. Also the fact that I can log to another device and my notes are "just there" is really nice. And also I like graphics user interface of Evernote.

👍 Pros:    Easy to use|Saves a ton of time|Sync across all my devices|Chrome extension available
👎 Cons:    Few webpages takes time to load|Paid plan to use on multiple devices

Made in China, it is probably the most complete open source, self-hosted or paid-for Evernote alternative in terms of functionality. Sadly, the English instructions aren’t easy to find or that clear.
