Bandlab may not be as powerful as the other DAWs out there. But the one thing it does have is a mobile app. The app is constantly improving on itself and the support team is very personable. There are limitations such as no way to creat busses and limited to only 16 tracks. But you can utilize other software to enhance tracks if needed. For someone who is always on thr Go and theres not much time to work on a project at home or in the studio bandlab will be your hero. You can simply arrange from your phone where ever you are. The plug ins are very elaborate and powerful as well. They have virtual instruments which i have yet to see from the few other DAWs ive used. And their online Mastering is actually very very rich in sound if you gain stage correctly. Between me and you. I also love the cloud aspect of it. I use bandlab as a form of backing up my work in case disaster occurs. So for that they get give stars.
Based on our record, Bandlab should be more popular than JQBX. It has been mentiond 20 times since March 2021. It does just have a silly hole and leaks saliva like mad. Should get it a tiny sanitary napkin haha. I'm using Cakewalk mostly, or https://bandlab.com which is the same thing on the web. Source: 10 months ago
Yeah, BandLab is simple and easy to get up and running and could be worth trying. (Well, I've tried BandLab online at bandlab.com rather than the app.) It's self-contained and comes with its own instruments. I think it could do ambient and cinematic, but I won't vouch for orchestral-level cinematic per se (but getting orchestras to satisfy me in any DAW might involve more tweaking than I would bother with.). If you're a Spotify user I recommend jqbx.fm. It's got a small population so there aren't that many rooms but they play some really good music. I have about 4-5 rooms I hop around when I'm doing work and JQBX has a few cool functions like starring songs which automatically adds it to your Spotify. Source: about 2 years ago
If you like music, you can join the music/chat-channels on jqbx.fm and we can have a drink together, chat and listening to music..? Source: over 2 years ago
I discovered a website/app called JQBX a few years ago where a bunch of other music obsessed people share music through premium Spotify. The community there is amazing (and very tight knit), I have discovered 99% of my new favourite bands on there, I usually hang in the room called ☁️ Chill Vibes ☁️. Highly recommend if you want to find new music. Source: over 2 years ago
If you have Spotify Premium check out JQBX. You join genre themed rooms with live chat and join the queue to add your song choices to the rotation. I haven't been in on a while so I don't know how active it is at the moment but it's a fun way to share and discover and talk about music together. Source: over 2 years ago
My friend, if you have spotify premium (I know, it's a pity that it doesn't also work with youtube) I recommend jqbx.fm It's where the music nerds hang out on the internet. Source: almost 3 years ago
