  1. Every Noise At Once is a web app that lists every single music genre in an explorable, listenable...
I have an arduous but relatively successful way of finding new music. Every Thursday I go to Consequence of Sound's new releases (other release sites are available) and look at everything that gets released the next day. I run through some of the band names I'm not familiar with and copy them into EveryNoise and it shows me their genres and what bands they're near in Everynoise's audio spectrum. If it ticks my boxes, I'll go to them on Spotify, check out their previous releases and potentially come back the next day for their new release. I've found some great bands through this, both with millions of streams to their name, and almost none.

I discovered a website/app called JQBX a few years ago where a bunch of other music obsessed people share music through premium Spotify. The community there is amazing (and very tight knit), I have discovered 99% of my new favourite bands on there, I usually hang in the room called ☁️ Chill Vibes ☁️. Highly recommend if you want to find new music.
