  Bandcamp. Start following bands you like (assuming they are on there) and you can get recs for similar artists. Also follow record labels to expand the offerings. Plus you'll know a good majority of the purchase price will be going to the artist and not the record company/streaming service/etc. However it's a service that artists are basically creating their own stores, setting prices etc. In most cases you can...   If you're a Spotify user I recommend jqbx.fm. It's got a small population so there aren't that many rooms but they play some really good music. I have about 4-5 rooms I hop around when I'm doing work and JQBX has a few cool functions like starring songs which automatically adds it to your Spotify. Source: about 2 years ago

  I discovered a website/app called JQBX a few years ago where a bunch of other music obsessed people share music through premium Spotify. The community there is amazing (and very tight knit), I have discovered 99% of my new favourite bands on there, I usually hang in the room called ☁️ Chill Vibes ☁️.   If you have Spotify Premium check out JQBX. You join genre themed rooms with live chat and join the queue to add your song choices to the rotation.
