Hello. I'm currently using apiflash to grab pictures from several sites and I love its simplicity (a REST-API you can invoke from curl and build your request on their site). As for an excel spreadsheet I'm not sure I've come across anything like that, but I have used easybib.com throughout my college, until I found out about the Word feature.
