Alasql VS PouchDB

Sql.js is pretty hard to use as is otherwise you run out of memory really quickly. I was trying to use it as the in-memory SQL flavor for an open source data ide [0] but my naive approach of `SELECT * FROM VALUES (...), ...` would run out of memory after only a few hundred rows. Meteor wrapped the MongoDB API for this purpose. You are working with collections and can run the same queries over them, regardless of whether you are connected to a DB instance or the browser's local storage. I have another use case that DO would be perfect for, and that's sync for offline first apps. I have two offline first apps, both using PouchDB[1] as client database and CouchDB as server database.
