I use this app called Alarmy. It’s the only thing that has me get up. To turn off the alarm, you have to complete a “mission”. The best/most reliable mission I’ve been able to use has been the barcode reader. I set the alarm to be disabled by needing to scan a shampoo bottle. Napping in blocks actually isn't a bad sleep pattern if it works for you. I sleep in 2 3-hour blocks and sometimes an additional 2-hour nap, I can't sleep for more than 6 hours at a time, and usually not really more than 4. I was always exhausted.
