  • Access Blocked
If you got the software anywhere else than activeworlds.com then you should not trust it, period. Real AW software frequently updates and installs patches to itself and some outside party may well be trying to utilize this for their own purposes and would be suspect. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Facebook has sold 4M Quest 2 headsets in the US, recall docs reveal
This is very reminiscent of Active Worlds[1][2], right down to how you drop-in and interact with the world. Would have thought after 25-years we would have developed the value proposition better, and not the client. 1. https://activeworlds.com/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 3 years ago
  • What are some obscure and old MMO's/virtual worlds that miraculously still exist?
Activeworlds ! This may be the first online 3D multi-user social virtual world, launched in 1995, eight years before Second Life which it shares quite a few things in common and was clearly a huge design influence on. Including vehicles, flight and water, player-built structures and object scripting. It was pretty mind-blowing to experience in the late 90's. It's pretty miraculous this is still kept alive, though... Source: about 3 years ago

  • Is there anyone that know where is this hair cc from?
I took this photo from the thesims3.com where you can choose a profile photo but I couldnt find this hair. So anyone here know that one? Source: 10 months ago
  • Having trouble with modding Sims 3 on new EA App.
Hidden Springs you will need to download from thesims3.com store. It won't be under EA App. Source: 11 months ago
  • Some TS3 badge challenges are... something out of the ordinary. Twilight inspired???
They're badges (challenges/achievements, basically). Go to thesims3.com, make an account/login, go to My Page, then My Badges - there you are! They're fun :). Source: over 1 year ago
  • So, I noticed that store content doesn't load through EA Desktop, so I decided to see if I could get any help with this. The support advisor I got was very nice and helpful, but sadly is looks like when Origin is shut down, I won't be able to use store content, including worlds, despite having disc.
I read most of the comments here and only Origin users will be forced to EA App and..the store contents may not downloadable? Because currently, I'm not using Origin to play the sims 3. My game is installed by DVDs all. So it's likely the patch version 1.67 would be safe with the store contents, right? I can install all store contents from thesims3.com without origin. • Why is it so hard
You don't need the Origin to send any online gift but you should be the registered member of thesims3.com I can still send any online present even though my game is installed by DVDs, but usually play offline for the better game performance. Source: over 1 year ago
