Late (2am) on the 26th, I received 3 text messages indicating the BTC (and ETH) being sent from my account are being delayed for security reasons. The text had a link (to a coinbase.com domain) to disable my account by clicking on the link. Considering the email domain is coinbase.com itself, it will be even harder to avoid being scammed. Now, I dont know if the user actually requested to reset a password, but smart that the user asked the scammer how much he or she claimed was in the wallet. I had earlier tried to forward this email to [security@coinbase.com](mailto:security@coinbase.com) and I got the same rejection message. What is wrong here? How am I supposed to get back to you if suddenly Coinbase is rejecting my emails? So, I got a call last night from someone claiming to be a Coinbase rep trying to protect my account from a suspicious withdrawal request. I played dumb, and told them to unauthorize that and lock my account until further notice. They sent me an email (with the headers all from coinbase.com, BTW) with a support ref number and all that.
