I couldn't figure it out. I mean, could you have a go at it? Like I want each of the 4 edges to be parameterizable (by a CSS var) so I can add a slider to adjust how long the circle stays in each of the states. I'm thinking of a customizable CSS version of: https://quietkit.com/box-breathing/. - Source: Hacker News / 12 months ago
I feel the same. I've been using "Box Breathing" gifs* for a long while and this one here feels like I'm just making myself get out of breath with shallow breathing that do not fill my lungs. Perhaps it is the point but the page does not go into details. * https://quietkit.com/box-breathing/. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Breathing exercises such as Box breathing have been helpful when I start to feel motion sick. But only if I am enjoying what I am playing, if I am grinding or powering through it; I am screwed. Source: about 2 years ago

I suggest that you take some time to focus on breathing w/o anxiety. This might be short sessions that get increasingly longer. Here's a link to Box Breathing for short sessions: https://quietkit.com/box-breathing/. Source: almost 3 years ago
Crying helped. Showers/baths (especially epson or CBD baths). Short walks, any kind of movement, even shaking a little helped. Tapping helped (there are You tubes, but the easiest for me was to cross my arms, place fingertips on upper shoulders, and tap 10 times on one side and 10 times on the other for a few minutes). Box breathing helped and it is simple to learn: https://quietkit.com/box-breathing/. Source: almost 3 years ago

If you are feeling stressed you can also try box breathing, a few minutes of that will calm you down. I would also add that strong expectations of how meditation should work or effect you will slow down your progress (e.g. "I've been meditating for 2 weeks now and I still feel stressed. What's the point of this useless bullshit?"). Instead, I would advise that you use your 10 minutes per day to drop all... Source: over 3 years ago

Manage your stress levels. Box Breathing and pauses for Mindful Meditation really helped when I started to stress or zone out on a question. Source: almost 4 years ago
Kinda rambling, but it could be very likely the same is true for you. If it’s only brought on while high, chances are it is anxiety induced. I’ve overcome it mostly, but it’s a total coin flip for when and if it will hit. When it does, all I do is accept it’s there. I can’t remedy it without completely calming myself down, which I do through the box breathing method. https://quietkit.com/box-breathing/ I use to... Source: almost 4 years ago
