Learn regex, folks! It's super useful, even outside of actual coding. Notepad++ has a regex option in their search and replace function, and it is super helpful to use it when I'm trying to parse things like logs, but want to clean them up a bit to see just the important parts. I like using this site for testing my regex, and I love how it explains how and why it's returning the matches: https://regex101.com/.
