OpenGameArt.org Newgrounds Freesound
  1. A site dedicated to sharing artwork & other assets for game development.
There are also fun website to look at with lots of unknown but talented people, like on opengameart.org or newgrounds, and I love to draw some inspiration from classic games like Doom 1993, Duke Nuke'Em 3D... That kind of stuff.

Oh I don't mean new composers but just trending. Maybe Hans Zimmer wasnt right to put on the list, I barely listen to his stuff. And yeah I love newgrounds but lately there has just been a bit too generic stuff, I love sorting by the oldest stuff and just looking around. Sometimes I also find myself lost in listening to songs submissions in old contests (i.e.) or packs some people made on a random site like Freesound.. anything. I seem to really like edgy, indie stuff that is not commercialized, just what people thought of making for fun, it's a lot more "free" in a way and people express themselves more that way.
