Also if I do finance a purchase and pay if off a little early will it have a good impact on my credit score as a completed loan? I heard some retailers don't report it to the credit bureau's. I'm particularly looking at newegg.com.

  3. Credit.
Credit.com has a free 30 day trial where you can see all 28 FICO scores, and then cancel the trial if you don't want to pay to keep them updating monthly. myFICO.com is the most comprehensive site for seeing your full reports and all 28 scores, but they have no free trial, and it's pricey at $40 per month, but it's the best. You can pay once, get your reports and scores, and then cancel until you want them refreshed.
