Okay so I live in Florida, specifically in a little middle-of-no-where Starke, which is between Gainesville and Jacksonville. It seems that the entire city is monopolized by CenturyLink. There are other options depending on where in Starke but CenturyLink has the most coverage according to broadbandnow.com. Here's the thing about where I specifically live in the city. In the specific area I live in, there is only one ISP and only one option of internet speed, 4mbps. And I kid you not, just across the street of my physical address, there are two ISPs. In fact, let me paint a picture here because it frustrates me to no end. Imagine a neighborhood and the neighborhood has a circular shape and inside the circular shape where houses are, only one ISP is available. Outside is just two. Literally everywhere but that one weird spot surrounded by other houses separated by roads is just one ISP available. It's not even a big circle.
