    I have a similar problem. I try to keep away from mood-changers (caffeine, weed, alcohol etc) and listen to brain.fm. I keep my phone with me, because restriction brings out a bad side in me, but I end up using it way less when I know it's there and I'm choosing to not use it.

    There's also Hazeover, a productivity/focus app, that let's you dim anything on your screen aside from the window in focus. Although I rarely use it, it sure is a nice and useful software, worth a mention imo.

    There are a host of apps (toggl.com/track, everyhour.xyz or getharvest.com) but make sure you record regularly. It doesn't need to take more than 2 minutes a day.

    Spark is probably one of the best and simplest mail apps I have used in my life, while I do often prefer the web UI for managing emails, there is something to be said about the convenience of a single app to deal with multiple mail accounts, I am pretty sure most, if not all of us have at least 2 email accounts, personal and work/professional.
