Search nearby hotel in booking.com or agoda.com and call or text the hotel's number via whatsapp. It will be cheaper(by around 10%) than doing online booking. Source: 10 months ago
Agoda.com read some prior posts that have asked the same question. Source: 11 months ago
Trivago.com is an search engine that can look into several hotels reservation websites such bookings.com, hotels.com, agoda.com, etc... I use it for first option ... Source: 11 months ago
Third, I will leave this to booking.com, agoda.com, or any online travel agency. But the food price and grab rides are pretty similar in the Philippines. Source: 11 months ago
I found the same on agoda.com (owned by booking.com). Even their website says to go to the mobile app for a lower price. This is their way to push adoption of the app. Source: 12 months ago
We are foodies and did the Michelin Star food tour by Tuk Tuk in Bangkok. WOW! WOW! WOW! (Found on Agoda.com). Source: about 1 year ago
I had the same issue once (in my case it was mold, cockroaches, ...) but booked through booking.com. I checked out 1 hour after check-in and informed Booking. Even though they are owned by the same company as agoda.com, I got a full refund, no further questions asked. Maybe the hotel in this case was cooperative, I don't know, but the helpdesk of Booking was really friendly and helpful. I've also used Agoda in the... Source: about 1 year ago
Trip.com is really the best for China - but if you want to cross-check agoda.com is an ok back-up option. Source: about 1 year ago
Regarding food - I wouldn't over think it too much. If you use agoda.com to do your hotel booking (which I'd recommend) you'll be able to find hotels that have breakfast included in the price, this can be quite a nice benefit. Source: about 1 year ago
I only pay booking.com or agoda.com when I book a hotel room. I have never been asked o pay elsewhere, unless to pay at the hotel when check in. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm having a little bit of a trouble finding accommodation (by searching online) in Havana. I noticed that websites like booking.com, agoda.com or kayak.com aren't listing any options. The only portal that I see working is Airbnb.com, where I can find several listings. Source: over 1 year ago
Agoda.com lets you search by area, price, etc. Pick a few and read reviews - you'll get a lot wider info than here. Source: over 1 year ago
I've heard that I would be able to secure better rates by avoiding websites like airbnb (which seems to be a lot more expensive than its booking.com or agoda.com counterparts) and instead visiting places in-person to negotiate. Source: over 1 year ago
(I was also using a VPN routing to Cambodia, it may have made no difference but it sure does when using agoda.com, which I recommend. You can add an incognito window, or clear your cache & cookies, and never give permission to the agoda app to know your physical location!). Source: over 1 year ago
Plenty of good options on agoda.com. You can even try Wai/Panchgani. Source: over 1 year ago
I checked my bank account earlier and was caught by surprise when I saw that agoda.com took P3,411.83 from my account. Source: over 1 year ago
Agoda.com select area, price, read reviews. Source: over 1 year ago
Agoda.com does this shamelessly, I was trying to book a room and it was the "last room" it then got sold out after I clicked around comparing hotels. Naturally agoda then offers me a more expensive room since the other one is "sold out". Source: over 1 year ago
Hotels.com and agoda.com. If I can't find something on them, I try booking.com. Source: over 1 year ago
For example, I'm currently in Singapore at the moment while typing this. While I can't book Marina Bay Sands since hotels.com doesn't list them, it practically gave me a P20,000++ "saving" as I'm getting a free night over at Ritz-Carlton as I'm staying for 4N with the entire booking cheaper than booking direct or cross-shopping agoda.com. That alone makes the annual fee worth it. Source: over 1 year ago
It always seems to be 1.5x more expensive than places I find on booking or agoda.com so I don't see the appeal. Source: over 1 year ago
