• I want to get into 3D Modeling. I need alternatives for this.

  Zbrush is the gold standard and it's not cheap. It has recently switched to subscription only. Zbrush also offers a stripped down free version for beginners and dabblers called Zbrush Core Mini.   If you can use Houdini, or Zbrush( or Blender) to use the weird dentist tool thingy mechanic to sculpt? Cut the form into the floor, thereby creating bricks. Its like reverse Tetris where you're the delivery service preparing all the forms. Textures should automatically snap with the grid, and if I remember correctly you can use the F7 in Blender to fix mesh f*ck-ups and weird glossy reflection shenanigans. Source: almost 2 years ago

  Use a ZBrush type program, bridge it into something like photoshop, slap a bunch of maps and additional details on it, and bridge it into the game.. Shapes and maps, that's all it is. Not that difficult to do. Source: about 3 years ago
