My windows 11 update recently wiped my youtube music app from my windows app tray. When I go into chrome and go to music.youtube.com, I can click the three dots in my browser, but instead of "install youtube music" the only option is "open youtube music". When I do that, it opens youtube music as the desktop app, however it is nowhere to be found in my windows machine. Is there anyway to uninstall and reinstall?... - Source: Reddit / 3 days ago
So I have tried clearing all browser cache & cookies in Firefox, but music.youtube.com as well as https://music.youtube.com and even music.youtube.com/foo all redirect me to youtube.com/premium. As mentioned in another comment, I also tried installing the Android app, to no avail. - Source: Reddit / 5 days ago
What I said earlier about tapping library again was for mobile (Android, iOS). Maybe try a different browser if this doesn't work. You should be able to go to music.youtube.com without signing in too. It really shouldn't be redirecting you. - Source: Reddit / 5 days ago
As for "Go to the library" - I feel stupid, but how does one do that? I cannot access any URL under music.youtube.com because it just redirects me to youtube.com/premium (and that's just YouTube, so no "library" button there). I am just unable to even reach anything on the YouTube Music app, let alone my library. - Source: Reddit / 5 days ago
Over time, YouTube has developed into more than just a video-sharing website; it now features a music component known as YouTube Music. But occasionally, the ideal song simply is not available on the streaming service. Fortunately, there is a technique to convert YouTube to MP3 files and play them offline. I will demonstrate how to achieve it in this article. - Source: Reddit / 4 days ago
I wanted to go back to listen to some songs I purchased on Google Play Music way back in the day. I never really used Youtube Music much, but I have listened to my library on Youtube Music a few times before (i.e. It was possible, at some point). However, now, I cannot even access music.youtube.com as it redirects me to youtube.com/premium and wants me to pay for YouTube Premium. Do I now have to subscribe to... - Source: Reddit / 5 days ago
Could you clarify -- are you talking about youtube.com views or music.youtube.com ? - Source: Reddit / 23 days ago
Just use Ublock origin and go to music.youtube.com. - Source: Reddit / 27 days ago
Note that in both apps and music.youtube.com its also this way, Meaning its probably intentional. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
You can acces to the full album legally on : https://music.youtube.com/ just search Eternity's End Unyielding. - Source: Reddit / about 1 month ago
I've never seen it do that. Can you try logging into the web version (music.youtube.com) and seeing if the supermix is the same there? It sounds like a very annoying bug... As you've deleted and re-added the app, it sounds more like an account than app issue. Maybe also try opening a ticket with YTM (if you're premium, avatar -> help). - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
If you're using a logitech keyboard you can set to it a webpage and point it to music.youtube.com. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago

My drives are either quiet/silent, or if I want music, I stream music.youtube.com, and through Brave it's commercial-free. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
I've been listening to the Reservoir Dogs soundtrack a few times lately - end to end. Today, suddenly some of the songs are unavailable. Be it using music.youtube.com, the desktop app or Android app. Some songs are still available elsewhere: e.g. Little Green Bag is still ok to access on the "Tarantino Connection" album but Fool for Love with Sandy seems to be gone completely. Did I miss the obvious TL-DR somewhere? - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago
What part of youtube does it get it from, because a lot of OPUS is higher bitrate than spotify's AAC and opus is better to boot. Also if it's downloading from https://music.youtube.com/ it's likely always better than spotify. - Source: Reddit / about 2 months ago

I use YoutubeMusic on Kiwi Browser with some userscripts to allow background playback. But sadly I can't use the progress bar to move/skip parts in the song. Now I would be very happy about any suggestions, on how to fix this, maybe a browserscript or a browser extension. Here you can see a image of the current UI o can see on music.youtube.com. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
