As for your issue specifically, ensure your running the right version of Minecraft (forge 1.19.2 for example) then open an SFTP client like winscp enter your credentials, find your Minecrafts "mods" folder and upload the mod jars you wish to use.   Personally I prefer to use WinSCP from my Windows computer because you can browser hidden folders to find those hidden files, and if it's a log file you can right-click and select open to view it (or save it to your computer if you prefer).
