  • Wikiwand Extension Link Previews not working
Does anyone have any suggestions for fixing an issue I've been having with the Wikiwand extension? I haven't been able to get the link previews working the way they used to, and it's super frustrating and annoying when it works with the regular wikipedia.org page just fine. I'm unaware of any other extensions that I have that would be interacting (and I've tried on MS Edge with the same issue). Example pics... Source: 6 months ago
  • AP Tp-Link TL-WA1201 that autonomously carries out DNS queries on amazon.com and wikipedia.org every few seconds.
Without there being any client connected to the AP, it independently carries out DNS queries (Type: A, Plain DNS) to two addresses every few seconds (!): amazon.com and wikipedia.org. Source: 7 months ago
  • White Martyrdom might be the only solution
However some good came from this as we see from wikipedia.org. Source: 10 months ago

  • Possibly moving to Portland from Phoenix, AZ. Transplants (from anywhere), what considerations do you wish you would have thought of (or did) now that you live in Portland?
Forgive me if this is a exhausting question, but I did search both this and r/Portland and didn't find many answers. Anyway, for the past few years I've been juggling moving to Portland (or Denver) against how comfortable I am now. I love (LOVE) the weather here (barring anytime it's 110 or higher), but to my surprise Portland is reasonably temperate. (At least from what I see on weather.com and wikipedia.org) A... • People switching from RARBG to TG make the TG's torrents most popular in 1337x.
It was long ago a well known fact that FBI took the domain, had the server "in their hands". Not sure about the mirrors (but normally `agencies` run everywhere, including tor nodes) so tldr is not to trust any site/mirror and that includes not to fully trust everything is on wikipedia.org. Maybe some facts are missing. Source: 11 months ago
  • The tooltip of every item should contain a description from Wikipedia
For a new player who knows nothing about Minecraft, they may be confused about what an item that they find is. I believe that it would be a great improvement to add an explanation of the item to help them and make sure that Minecraft is accessible to everyone. The creative inventory in the old console edition was a start, but I feel that they are not detailed or helpful enough. Luckily, there is a freely... Source: 11 months ago
  • wikipedia.org not working on DU (EITC) network
The fact that you're able to traceroute and ping wikipedia.org through ICMP doesn't necessarily mean that's NOT blocked. ISPs here have recently gone through measures where blocking a website doesn't necessarily greet you with the official 'Blocked in UAE' landing page, instead they're simply blacked out with a DSN error, similar to what we are seeing in the case of wikipedia.org. • wikipedia.org not working on DU (EITC) network
Anyone using the DU Home Internet (Fiber network) unable to access wikipedia.org ? Checked over Etisalat cellular data and it works fine. Source: 11 months ago
  • GPT-4 Browser Plugin is unusable slow. I know the capabilities are more than just a search engine, but if you need to wait for 3 minutes each request, I'll just read it myself.
I know that some think the error is related to robots.txt (that is the file that prevents accessing certain files). But that can't be the cause. All visited web sites are listed in the drop down menu and for me the "Click failed" messages came for pages like cnn.com and wikipedia.org. These do not exclude their pages via robots.txt. And also: The pages worked a few hours later when I repeated the same prompt with... Source: 11 months ago
  • Who is the authority about wallets?
At the end of the day there is no authority on open source things like bitcoin wallets or wikipedia.org. Do some research and get a feel for a consensus. If it's too good to be true then it probably is. Source: 11 months ago
  • Timothée Chalamet Is Channeling His Viral High School Rap Persona for ‘A Complete Unknown’ Bob Dylan Biopic
Art Film: a movie made primarily for aesthetic reasons rather than commercial profit, often of an experimental nature. Typically an independent film, aimed at a niche market rather than a mass market audience. (Dictionary.com , wikipedia.org ). Source: 12 months ago

  • The Role of Ontologies in LLMs
I tried the question posed on birds and got an answer that was almost exclusively sourced from wikipedia.org site. I asked the question again with the instruction to exclude wikipedia.org as a source which it did except for one reference. Given the volume of data on such a topic I am surprised that the answer utilized wikipedia.org over other sources and struggled with an answer without it. Source: about 1 year ago

  • Accidentally accessed porn on the work network!
Story sorta checks out. Wikipedia landing page for 'Penthouse' gives OP a link for the apartment and the magazine right next to eachother, easy misclick - but it still puts you on wikipedia.org with a pretty tame cover (I've seen more skin at the beach) so OP would be fine in that case, assuming their employer had monitoring that even cares.
