  • OpenPipes Revolutionizes the DIY Pipe Organs
It's a simulator. Download here.[1] Runs on a Raspberry Pi. Playable from a MIDI keyboard, or keyboards. Additional button boxes and controls can be hooked on. Nothing wrong with that, but it's not earth-shaking. The article also mentions someone who built a mini pipe organ from plastic pipe and laser-cut wood, but that's not what the project is about. Can you try and play the melody on this virtual piano and copy the result? Source: 10 months ago
  • i need some help
Hi, I often need to use a piano when I'm outside of cubase (for exemple, transcribing a music on youtube) but the website I use (https://virtualpiano.net/) doesn't recognise my midi keyboard as it is (i guess) used by cubase What could I do, or what do you do to hear what you play outside of cubase. • Why do we move the 5th interval from our chords/harmony
    Go to Virtual Piano, play a chord comprised of C2 - C3 - E3 a few times (press 8+t+u). Then, play another chord consisting of C2 - G2 - C3 - E3 - G3 a few times (8+w+t+u+o). I dare you to say that it "doesn't do much". Source: 12 months ago
  • I literally know the notes of this song I'm losing my mind please

  • does not taking while your voice was dropping have any effect on it?
If you aren't familiar with musical notes, go here: https://virtualpiano.net/ & once you've loaded the piano, go to key assist - turn on note labels. Lower notes are to the left. 😊. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Bad Vocal Teacher?!?
Reading music is not difficult - have a look at teoria.com and musictheory.net. If you want to sing a specific song, you can then get the sheet music for the song and play the tune on a piano, a keyboard or a virtual piano (keyboard app or website) in order to learn it. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Does anyone know what my vocal range is Idk, that’s my lowest comfortable to my highest comfortable note
If you don't have an instrument, here is an online piano you can use. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Which one is higher
You can find a virtual keyboard with note labels on virtualpiano.net. Click "Key Assist" and then "Note Labels" to turn them on. On a piano, a G# is played with the same key as an Ab. See teoria.com and musictheory.net for introductory music theory. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Need to learn to site read music
Provide introduction into music theory. teoria.com has sight-singing exercises. There are various sites with virtual keyboards like virtualpiano.net if you need to check your singing. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How can I find a song stuck in my head?

  • Anyone have/know where to find Carl Loewe, "Des fremden Kindes heiliger Christ", Op. 33 No. 3?
You can probably reconstruct the tune in the key you need from what's on there. Do you have access to a piano? If not, virtualpiano.net might help. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How do you describe your color blindness when someone asks you what it is like?
If you want to hear an example of this you can head over to https://virtualpiano.net/ and paste this into the editor (edit pencil on right of keyboard, then edit pencil again, then copy the text in and hit go). Then hit the auto play button (play button w/ arrow rotating around it just above the second pencil button you just clicked). Source: over 1 year ago
  • This sub is ass for actual people trying to learn how to sing
Get pitch monitor software (available for most commonly used OSs, including iPhone and Android) or google for online pitch monitor. Or go to virtualpiano.net and hit the keys on the piano until you have matched your pitch. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Anyone know how to make Davy Jones theme with note blocks on Minecraft? I've been trying to figure this out for months with no luck
How much do you know about sheet music? I did something like this a while ago, but I don't fully remember how many clicks on the note block translated to which note. I figured it out by playing with a keyboard right next to me, but if you don't have one you could probably use a virtual piano, like this one: https://virtualpiano.net/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • trying to find editable virtual instruments I can play with my mpk mini
I'm a music therapist and trying to see if anyone knows where I can find editable virtual instruments that I can play back with my mpk mini 3. Something like https://virtualpiano.net/ but I would be able to edit it so only certain notes are playable. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Looking for a virtual piano display application
Https://virtualpiano.net/ does exactly what you're describing. It only works with my midi keyboard in chrome for me. Source: over 1 year ago
  • How many octaves am I able to sing?
You can look up the notes on virtualpiano.net. An octave is from one key to the next key in the identical position up or down the keyboard. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I want to play an instrument but I live in a third world religious country
Meanwhile, you can still learn some music theory and apply it toward digital composing. Learn some music theory and start writing music using software such as MuseScore, or make full blown productions with a Digital Audio Workstation (A really good free DAW is Cakewalk). You may get some joy out of playing on some online piano apps (https://virtualpiano.net/). Source: over 1 year ago
