This prompted the agency to search for a solution that could provide observability and transparency, enabling them to accelerate development and streamline their shipping process. It was out of this pressing need, coupled with real-life use cases, that the initial version of Treblle came into existence.

   The whole product is built using the Laravel framework. In the background, we use AWS, S3, and Single Store.

  Because of this we started developing Treblle. To solve our own problems. We simply could not find a solution that would allow us to do what we wanted and needed(please correct me if i’m wrong). There were a plethora of tools that log code based errors or tools that do automated periodical monitoring but nothing that would log every request, generate documentation, provide analytics and insights and similar.   Just like pikknz I would recommend PHP - specifically Laravel. It has a beautiful abstraction layer for creating API responses called Resources and I fell in love when I saw them.   It sounds weird especially if we factor in COVID-19 but we've done that so we can focus on Treblle. 110% focus.
