Just use https://swiperjs.com/ ... Has all the usability imho. Source: 10 months ago
You mention YAGNI, but I think the bigger blocker is "Don't reinvent the wheel" - which I think is the most misunderstood bit of programming advice out there. In my SvelteKit app, I am not using a "UI Framework" that provides components to me. I don't need to. Svelte is simple enough that I can build almost anything myself. I've looked at Skeleton's source code, and their components on average are not better than... Source: 11 months ago
Swiper.js is a JS library for creating touch-based, mobile-friendly sliders and carousels for web apps. It provides many features and options for building highly customizable sliders. - Source: dev.to / 12 months ago
I haven't used it myself, but I've seen other folks mention Swiper JS. This little snippet from their landing page makes it look pretty easy to use. Source: 12 months ago
I've got nothing sorry. If you go to swiperjs.com you'll see their demos, if you get the "Core" demo you should be able to coble together an mvp for it. Source: about 1 year ago
The one you linked is built with Swiper. Great library I use it all the time in projects. In the swiper api there is a 'slideChange' method you can use to get the individual elements to animate in. Source: about 1 year ago
Try swiperjs.com for a really simple but very powerful swiper. When you go to their site, click on demos, then if you're using vanilla js click on Core above the demo and it will give you the full example in situ. Source: about 1 year ago
Swiper.js might have everything you need depending on what you’re doing. Source: over 1 year ago
If your company allows external libraries, you can look at Swiper for the carousel and just style it the way you want with Tailwind. Source: over 1 year ago
Easiest way to replicate this would be with a slideshow library such as https://swiperjs.com/. It has support for navigation with both mousewheel and keyboard. Source: over 1 year ago
For learning purposes sure, otherwise use something like https://swiperjs.com. It is really a lot of work to create a performant slider that is configurable, and above all, accessible. (e.g. Keyboard enabled, horizontal scrolling and swiping, virtual scrolling, etc.). Source: over 1 year ago
But thanks God, it is now absolutely effortless to create a carousel from many libraries such as Swiper, Slick, Owl Carousel,... - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
I would like to install Swiper framework for example into a project and play around with it. But I do not want to use NPM or any package manager. I downloaded the assets manually, but I do not know how to add this to my project since the tar archive file I downloaded contains lots of stylesheets, scripts and what appears to be lots of useless files. The website does not show what files to embed into my HTML file.... Source: over 1 year ago
If I were approaching this layout/functionality, my go-to would be swiper. Https://swiperjs.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm using this for my project rn. https://swiperjs.com/ Has an autoplay module. Source: over 1 year ago
I think what's missing most is a selection of components with high responsiveness and a complete feature set. Look closely at something like swiper.js, or d3js, or similarly mature tools and libraries and you'll have a hard time finding anything in Blazor that is truly equivalent as a standalone replacement or responsive and functionally complete as a wrapper for integrating these existing libraries into Blazor... Check out swiperjs, really easy to setup 👌🏻 Https://swiperjs.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
Oh, I don't know of anything like that. It would be easy enough the set up Swiper or something like that to cycle through all your images. Source: over 1 year ago
You’ll need a bit of JavaScript for that. Have a look at Swiper (https://swiperjs.com). Source: almost 2 years ago
