I used to play the piano but that was all the way back when I was a kid. I don't play it anymore. Haven't in so long. And.....I'm not sure how I can join a band. I'm not sure how to interact with other people in real life anymore. I do listen to a lot of songs though. I go to songmeanings.com and search for music that is relatable (the most relatable I guess) to my life and circumstances. Sometimes it triggers me... Source: over 1 year ago

Same. It's always been a way for me to get deeper enjoyment from a song or album I love. I listen to the song on repeat and have feelings. I look up the lyrics and have more feelings. Then I go to songmeanings.com and get another level of feelings - even better if I can get a bit of backstory to the song too. I didn't realise it was an Autism thing until right now. It's an under rated Bowie song. An attempt at a Dylanesque epic. Developing his songwriting skills, taking it up a notch or two. Different interpretations can be found at songmeanings.com. I prefer yours. Source: over 2 years ago
Some dude on songmeanings.com thinks that New Millenium Cyanide Christ is related to Heaven's Gate mass suicide. I don't have time to check that further right now though unfortunately. Maybe this is of some help for you. Source: over 2 years ago

- what do you think about this comment over on songmeanings.com "the work of poet W.B. Yeats had a lot of swan symbolism. One in particular - The Wild Swans at Coole - mentioned "nine and fifty swans". The poignant part here is that swans mate for life, so the fact that Yeats was seeing an odd number of swans was actually a reflection on his own underlying fear of being alone as he ages and the yearning for his... I compiled about 350 song lyrics, and for each one I scraped the comments off of songmeanings.com. I tried to run them through LDA topic modeling. I didn't see anything interesting in the results. It basically just thinks the songs are all just "love love yeah yeah oh oh..." - I know I know, my uncle's been saying the same thing for years, but obviously songs *do* have topics even if they're shallow ones- love,... Have you tried songmeanings.com? It really is great. Some comments go back to the early 2000s. Genius can be good, but it does not allow for many interpretations. Source: almost 3 years ago
