Have been digging a little more in the little time I have spare at the moment - Seems DNS blacklists/redirect are not fully successfull. Even though I have redirected the domains sling.com, slingbox.com and slingmedia.com to a local "HoneyPod" on my lan it still appears that the slingbox is trying to talk to 67.148.153.136 and 67.148.153.250 on the internet which it can not get to since I shutdown all internet... I am completely lost, or I'm missing a major chunk of instructions here. I setup a Raspberry Pi3. I did the update/upgrade, python3-pip, and flask. I moved the three files over. I logged into the slingbox.com web interface and ran the account_boxes_js and got the output saved. Source: over 2 years ago
