  Look for a MicroG ready ROM for Google Play app compatability. SkyTube Extra is my go-to Youtube replacement and includes Chromecast, though MicroG doesn't seem to have consistent coverage of that feature. Source: about 2 years ago

  As others have pointed out a better solution would be using a third-party app to access YouTube. Vanced is the most famous, but if you want open-source solutions you can also use NewPipe or SkyTube. Source: almost 3 years ago

  If you are on Android you can use skytube to get around this https://skytube-app.com/ it allows you to use YT without tracking, without age restrictions and without region lock. Source: almost 3 years ago

  You can try an adblock VPN like Blokada or adblock DNS like AdGuard. I too would however recommend using a third-party YouTube mod, like SkyTube. Source: almost 3 years ago

  Had the same problem on mobile and found Skytube , an app that lets you view youtube videos without an account the UI is a bit tricky but you get used to it, there are other alternatives but they didn t work for me. Source: almost 3 years ago
