  • Trilium Notes: note taking application for large personal knowledge bases
I use SimpleMind: It runs fully offline with Google Drive/Dropbox/Nextcloud support. Desktop and native mobile apps are available. No subscription, one-time fee for both desktop and mobile apps. I'm tempted to move on to "infinite canvas" freeform notetaking like Muse, but I don't want to pay a subscription fee. I wish SimpleMind had some of Muse or Kinopio's features, like audio/gif/video... - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago

  • Free Mind mapping software for Window 10
Simplemind is one of my favorites but as you see, the advanced features require an upgrade. I don't know of anything that converts a note into a node. If I want to do that I have to copy the note's contents into a new node. - Source: Reddit / about 2 years ago
  • AMA Riley with the huge polycule
The app I used to chart this out. I used the iOS app with pro features. There’s TONS of little editing I used to make this. - Source: Reddit / about 2 years ago
