Rake is the next-generation universal messaging platform for everyone. One-stop: Each System User is given access to a workspace. In the workspace, the System User can collaborate with co-workers and guests through private one-on-one channels, private group channels, and public group channels. Collaboration takes place with written messages which can include attachments, emojis, and live links. The Rake collaboration experience is very similar to Slack and makes Rake a good replacement for Slack or Teams. The cloud based Rake workspace also includes a live two-way omnichannel messaging experience for the System User. Messages may originate from a website chat widget, Facebook Messenger, SMS, etc. When the message flows into the Rake workspace, it includes a small icon to help the System User know its channel of origin. The System User is given the option to βGOβ to the conversation and subsequently βSTARTβ the conversation. The conversation will be an exchange of written messages which can include attachments, emojis, and live links.
We have been using Rake Chat for over a year and have found it to be user-friendly, comprehensive, and always improving! Our company went 100% virtual during the pandemic, so it allows all of us to communicate easily and quickly 24/7, using both the desktop version and the mobile app. We had used Slack for years, but Rake allows us to see the complete message history that Slack did not, which is a huge plus for Rake.
Working fully remote with over 150 employees to manage, communication is key! We needed a life line to be able to stay in constant communication with our team. The fact that I can go back and look at history from over a year ago is so incredibly helpful especially being in HR. With Rake you have the ability to chat privately with a co-worker, in a group chat with no limit on the number of people in the chat, along with company-wide channels. There is also the mobile app which allows you to stay in constant communication with employees when away from the office. The Rake team has been phenomenal and immediately responds when needed.
We were a long-time Slack organization - and we loved it. But, we wanted to add chats with customers and Slack wasn't a good option. Also, we were very restricted in our Slack message history within our plan. It was like having no history at all.
Now, we chat with hundreds of customers a day on Rake - from website, SMS, and Facebook Messenger. We're still having thousands of messages internally a day. But, with Rake instead of Slack, we're getting our full history.
