I asked gpt to "create a complex circuit diagram in LaTex format. I then used https://overleaf.com to render the LaTex document gpt produced. Source: 11 months ago
A nitpick: the bottom right text "created with resumepuppy.com" looks a little unprofessional. If you want an online resume website (free), there's overleaf.com which I like. Source: 12 months ago
I find myself using my browser most of the time, I don't load any heavy website either. It's mostly YouTube, Overleaf, Mathcha, Quora, LinkedIn, Codechef, HackerRank, etc. Other than that sometimes I use heavy editors like Visual studio, PyCharm, etc. Source: about 1 year ago
I loved LaTex (via overleaf.com) for school assignments. Admittedly, I'm probably in the minority there. But it made formatting stuff so much easier. I'm reasonably proficient at LaTeX, and there were a few deadlines I can recall that I would absolutely have missed if I'd had to deal with all the formatting and citations manually. Not really. If you just need to make documents, any of the free office software will do (Libre Office, Open Office, Google Docs, etc). The best way to make IEEE formatted papers is through LaTeX with BibTeX (also said by another commenter). It makes referencing/citing a breeze. Submitting papers to journals would likely require the same to be in LaTeX format. During my undergrad, we were required to do the thesis... Source: about 1 year ago
Use LaTeX to write these things in a paper. Setting up a TeX environment is hard, so look at overleaf.com. The mhchem package is my goto for formatting nuclear chemistry. There is probably a package that will draw the nuclei if you want those in your paper too. Source: about 1 year ago
I used overleaf.com to compile the document. Create a user and open up a blank document. Source: about 1 year ago
Overleaf.com is my go-to. Basically codes your resume into a nice professional-quality PDF. Source: about 1 year ago
Please go to overleaf.com , pick a beautiful template, not like this 5 year old school assignment, that your small niece made it out for you. Source: about 1 year ago
Overleaf (https://overleaf.com/) is pretty popular for this, and also tracks things like edit history. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Or you just use something like http://overleaf.com and render LaTeX as PDF in your browser. Source: over 1 year ago
When writing a paper with multiple authors I preferred to use something like overleaf (overleaf.com), it includes a history and you can export it to GitHub or add it to your own tracking by downloading the files themselves. Source: over 1 year ago
Others don't use canva for making resumes, it's suitable for graphic purposes but flowcv.io or overleaf.com, or novoresume are good ones. Source: over 1 year ago
Either Overleaf, which is a Online Tool, no setup, only a account needed. Source: over 1 year ago
I had my software engineering spouse make a CV and she built it using LaTeX (document building language) hosted on overleaf.com. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm in mech e and use latex for all pretty much everything. Makes searching notes, hw, etc. a breeze and also much easier to copy into wolfram alpha without a dumb error if there's a tedious multiplication or something. Additionally, much nicer to read later when studying for exams. I'd recommend overleaf.com and mathpix.com to get the flow started! Source: over 1 year ago
Use something like latex (overleaf.com makes it super easy) to create a simple CV that highlights your education, research experience, and work experience. If you're not from a CS background, list out your coursework as well. If you don't have work/research experience, list out interesting projects. Your CV has a very natural link with your SoP, so you can use one as a guide to frame the talking point for the other! Source: over 1 year ago
With all respect, if you've never heard of lemmas, then probably either you've not been studying your math in Englihs, or you might be out of your league a little in the mathematics you're trying to present. You should try reading https://faculty.math.illinois.edu/~berndt/writingmath.pdf and using LaTeX (the Website overleaf.com has free tutorials and makes it easy to setup). But also, maybe post it online before... Source: over 1 year ago
I only care about LaTeX and publicity: overleaf.com (share your LaTeX project link and call it a day; you can decide whether people can edit it or just view it). Source: over 1 year ago
