Sorry, but _what exactly_ ยซit seems to doยป from your point of view? My ยซsecond brainยป now is almost 300Mb of text, pictures, sound files, PDF and other stuff. As I already mentioned, it contains tables, mathematical formulae, sheet music, cross-references, code samples, UML diagrams and graphs in Graphviz format. It is versioned, indexed by local search engine, analyzed by AI assistant and shared between many... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
Let me start by saying I like the goal and would like to see org mode accessible to everyone, but I do have some thoughts/reservations. > For the little code I do write, I find having AI assistance (via CoPilot or Cody) to be tremendously helpful. So helpful, in fact, that I now tend to jump into VSCode for actual coding, Aren't there both copilot and Cody plugins available in emacs? > Use VSCode for everything.... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago

Organice is a more active fork of org-web that can also sync with GitLab or WebDAV. I'm currently syncing it with my personal Nextcloud server. Source: over 3 years ago
Have you tried organice ? It's quite decent and it loads the org files from Dropbox if you want to, it's the best mobile org-viewer/editor I found. Source: over 3 years ago
Neat, great work and thanks for sharing. Have you come across organice which dies similar. They've a channel over on Element(/Matrix). Source: over 3 years ago
I recently discovered organice : https://organice.200ok.ch/ Itโs installed on my phone and my tablet and I use a gitlab repo. From my phone I can see my agenda and tasks and I can quickly capture things to an inbox file. Later when Iโm back on my computer I can process the inbox. I also have a cronjob on my computer running every 30min to commit the changes in the repo if there are any (from... Source: almost 4 years ago
Org is becoming more accessible outside of Emacs. A handful of us are working on it. I built two apps for iOS: https://flathabits.com https://plainorg.com There are other org-based tools out there. https://BrainTool.org https://logseq.com https://orgzly.com https://beorg.app https://easyorgmode.com https://organice.200ok.ch https://orgro.org. - Source: Hacker News / almost 4 years ago
I also really like orgzly on Android, but for capturing I found https://organice.200ok.ch/ a bit better, since they offer templates. It's a web application that uses e.g. Dropbox to access and sync your files. Source: almost 4 years ago

If you like mobile Org synchronization with Git(lab) and you donโt want to give your passwords to a proprietary app, then maybe organice is for you: https://organice.200ok.ch/. Source: about 4 years ago
For this very reason I prefer Organice which has the bonus of being a PWA. Source: about 4 years ago
There are no shortages of markdown-powered tools out there. Org has a handful of great tools (outside of Emacs). Iโd love to see the list grow. Org is so versatile, it can power so many use-cases. If youโre an org fan, get the word out and help promote these projects in any way you can: https://BrainTool.org https://logseq.com https://plainorg.org https://orgzly.com https://flathabits.com https://beorg.app... - Source: Hacker News / about 4 years ago
Yes, I do self-host a public instance under https://organice.200ok.ch and use it daily - from my phone and to share Org files with non-Emacs users. Source: about 4 years ago
Plain text can be super versatile (task-tracking and note-taking are great examples), but equally important are the guarantees that your content is truly yours (no lock-in). Its Emacs origin may put some off, but it's plain text, so your content can be... - Source: Hacker News / about 4 years ago
