Mp3tag may also be an alternative, though it kind of sits between the two, as it can search on Musicbrainz but doesn't have as good of a UI as Meta imo. Source: about 2 years ago

I'm also the developer of Mp3tag, a universal audio metadata editor that also allows for loading and creating playlists (see File → Create Playlist...). You can sort the files via column click or manually using drag&drop while holding the ⌥ key down. Source: almost 3 years ago
I don't edit video metadata too often, but when I do I use Mp3tag (which also has a Mac app). Despite the name, it works with many different metadata tagging systems, not just MP3s. Source: almost 3 years ago
Or use the 7 day trial version of mp3tag for mac https://mp3tag.app/. Source: almost 3 years ago
Alternatively, you can try to import the video with MP3tag. Not sure how well it edits video file header tags. The MacOS version is not free like the Windows version though (because of the App Store's license fees): https://mp3tag.app/. Source: over 3 years ago
I assume you're on mac since you said iTunes. For windows use https://mp3tag.app/. Source: over 3 years ago
Paid - Mp3tag https://mp3tag.app/ - very good but expensive - windows version is freeware and works fine via CrossOver if it is okay for you. Source: over 3 years ago
I'm trying to add my old CD collection to Apple Music but I'm having a bit of a nightmare. The CDs were ripped years ago and I don't recall what software I used to rip (but it wasn't iTunes.) As my old CDs don't have tag information, I'm using mp3tag to update all my tags; there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with this app - it updates tags and album artwork as expected. 2 - Then I used Mp3Tag Trial Mp3Tag to extract all embedded album art into it's own folders with the name cover.jpg. Source: about 4 years ago
