    I should note, a distro is separate from a DE, any distro can run any DE, it's just that some distros are designed around a particular DE. Pop!OS runs it's own GNOME based DE, but you could install KDE, or XFCE, or LXLE, or Cinnamon), or of you want to swing something more esoteric, i3wm.
