• Booked a holiday on lastminute.com. Want to cancel but not being offered a full refund

  I booked an expensive package holiday on lastminute.com using a credit card yesterday for next March. Only when I got the confirmation today do I realise that many details were not what I thought they were (checked luggage not included, domestic transfers not included).   A week later I received another email telling me my departure flight (Lufthansa) is now also cancelled and I would receive a refund. After investigating this one I realised that not only is the flight still running, lastminute.com are even selling it (at double the price I paid). It seems like you are in the UK and can probably vouch for your own experience for budgetair.co.uk.   Lastminute.com. They cancelled a holiday we had booked because the airline had cancelled the flight and they couldn't find an alternative. Fair enough, only they charged us a £300 admin fee saying it was not their company policy to give full refunds.   I was recently prevented from checking in by Finnair as did not have a return ticket. Had to quickly book a flight to Singapore whilst at the airport. Used lastminute.com and found options where you could pay a premium to be able to get 90% of ticket price as a voucher if you cancel. I ended up around $25 down.
