  I emailed him directly and he suggested using https://benjaminbenben.com/lastfm-to-csv/ for anyone else having this issue. Just note that Last.fm refuses scrobbles older than two weeks, which wasn't an issue, my library was essential and the scrobble time and order were nice-to-haves. Source: 12 months ago

I haven't seen any myself that require it, but some like https://benjaminbenben.com/lastfm-to-csv/ have an option in the settings to use your own key(Could be helpful if the developers key stops working and doesn't fix it quickly, the user can use their own).
