  • How does Google Colab "work"
We built a fascinating platform, https://iko.ai, that allows you to train, track, package, deploy, and monitor machine learning models with real-time collaborative notebooks on your own Kubernetes clusters. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Stripe App Marketplace
Hi, Edwin. I'm in the process of integrating Stripe to https://iko.ai. I recently discovered Portal (https://stripe.com/docs/billing/subscriptions/integrating-customer-portal) and I thank you for that. Less code for me. I'm a bit ashamed to say, but I'm having trouble with checking if the customer has a valid subscription. I'm currently only storing the customer_id in the database and retrieving the information... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Lessons Learned from Running Apache Airflow at Scale
That was one the reasons we do "bring your own compute" with https://iko.ai so people who already have a billing account on AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean, can just get the config for their Kubernetes clusters and link them to iko.ai and their machine learning workloads will run on whichever cluster they select. If you get a good deal from one cloud provider, you can get started quickly. It's useful even for... - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
  • Are all startups chaos?
We built an internal platform to streamline this that allows us to train, package, deploy, and monitor models (very shameless plug for our product https://iko.ai that we started because I was tired of watching colleagues look from the window to see if their train was here because they had to come to the office to train their model on the "powerful machine" and they spent 6 hours in commute every day and at some... • Juptyter Notebook Applications
We built https://iko.ai which offers real-time collaborative notebooks to train, track, package, deploy, and monitor machine learning models. Source: about 2 years ago
  • So Pro+ is an actual scam?
I can say something about this. In my effort to find customers for our product, https://iko.ai, which offers real time collaborative notebooks and much more, such as actual long running notebooks that don't lose output running in the background, I interacted with many users here in this subreddit. • Ask HN: Good open source alternatives to Google Analytics?
PostHog: https://github.com/PostHog/posthog if you want to deploy it yourself and https://posthog.com if you want the SaaS. I was using Avodocs (https://www.avodocs.com) to produce a privacy policy for our MLOps platform, https://iko.ai, but they didn't have PostHog in the list for the "Analytics" section, and they assumed that doing analytics implied sending user data to a third party site or something. I tweeted... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: General Questions for HN Readers
    >- Where are you from? Algiers, Algeria. >- How old are you? Thirties. >- In what field do you work? If it is related to CS, please specify the industry (SWE, AI, graphics etc) Building a machine learning platform (https://iko.ai) after many years of making bespoke machine learning products through consulting for large organizations. >- What did you study? Electrical Engineering. >-... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: Setting in Intial Infrastructure
    >We also have accounts in AWS, Azure and GCP. Do you mind sharing why you have accounts on all three? We do something similar because our product, https://iko.ai, enables people to train, track, package, deploy, and monitor machine learning models on their own Kubernetes clusters and their own data sources; therefore we have to support GCP's GKE, Azure's AKS, AWS' EKS, DigitalOcean Kubernetes,... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Easily Updatable SaaS (Code Design Pattern )
Yes. One of the first commits in our product (https://iko.ai) was to enable a plugin architecture. It was necessary for us to remove features as easily as it was to add them. Source: over 2 years ago
  • [D] GPU access without limit increases
I'm not sure I fully understand your ask, but I'm an engineer working on https://iko.ai. It gives you real-time collaborative notebooks to train, track, package, deploy, and monitor your machine learning models. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Long running jobs tech stack
We do that for https://iko.ai. It's a machine learning platform and we run notebooks on the Kubernetes clusters (AWS' EKS, GCP's GKE, Azure's AKS, or DigitalOcean) of the users to train machine learning models. We have jobs executed against user specified Docker images on the user's chosen cluster. We stream and save the output to cancel notebooks' limitation for closed browsers or disconnections. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Ask HN: How do you do website tracking without feeling you're selling your soul?
PostHog: https://github.com/PostHog/posthog if you want to deploy it yourself and https://posthog.com if you want the SaaS. I was using Avodocs (https://www.avodocs.com) to produce a privacy policy for our MLOps platform, https://iko.ai, but they didn't have PostHog in the list for the "Analytics" section, and they assumed that doing analytics implied sending user data to a third party site or something.
