  • Access GUI of router when in passthrough?
If you want to try this from WiFi without plugging into LAN 1, go to a site like https://ifconfig.co/ to find your Public IP address and then take that and either add or subtract 1 from the last number to get the Public IP address of the Verizon gateway and login using either http:// or https:// (depends on firmware version). • Accessing Docker Containers while VPN is active
I use Private Internet Access and they provide the necessary .ovpn file to insert into the container. That goes somewhere in the /config folder I believe, it's in the docs. Then I added auth-user-pass "filename" (I used credentials.conf) into the .ovpn so it can log itself in and get the VPN up. I went into docker exec -it qbittorrent /bin/bash and confirmed I was on the VPN connection and not my WAN using curl... Source: about 1 year ago

  • ProtonVPN wireguard running on pfsense - strange site load failures
If the rule is disabled, the pfsense machine checks updates and packages just fine and the sites all load. Running curl -4 ifconfig.co shows the pfsense VM is not going through the vpn tunnel as it is showing the non-vpn ip. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Badssl.com
Related: here is my collection of links/domains which are useful, but difficult to search for on Google. Web development: - http://vcap.me, http://lvh.me - Main domain and all subdomains resolve to localhost. -... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
  • T-Mobile Static IPv4 Setup
You can google what is my ip or go to a reliable site such as [ifconfig.co (https://ifconfig.co) and your new IPv4 address should be displayed. Source: over 1 year ago
  • WAN DHCP Address changing every few minutes
Is your WAN IP actually changing every 10 mins if you check it online (like https://ifconfig.co), or just the ddns updater is acting funky? Source: over 1 year ago
  • WireGuard VPN wifi router only some sites working
I have setup WireGuard on a remote raspberry pi, and a local one that I intend to use as a wifi router to provide a VPN connection to wireless clients. The tunnel comes up just fine, and all traffic flows to the local pi for all sites and services. However when I connect a wireless client, only some websites work. For example I can go to ifconfig.co and see that the wireless client is indeed tunneled, but many... Source: over 1 year ago

  • Forward all traffic from a peer to another peer via a relay server
In the router they show my public different than my actual public IP. In the router's admin panel, it shows my public IP like 39.xxx.xxx.xxx but when I check on ipinfo.io or ifconfig.co it shows something like 45.xxx.xxx.xxx. They are NATing the network internally twice. And I cannot access my ports even with IPv6. That's why I'm bringing a DigitalOcean VPS as a relay server. Source: over 2 years ago
