Investing.com is a financial markets platform (website & android/iOS app) providing real-time data, quotes, charts, financial tools, breaking news and analysis across 250 exchanges around the world in 44 language editions.
Some sites do not load at all, one example is investing.com I cannot ping but can nslookup the site from any lan connected device / vm / computer. To be safe I will point out that only a handful of websites do not load (that I have discovered so far), the rest work just fine.

If the rule is disabled, the pfsense machine checks updates and packages just fine and the sites all load. Running curl -4 ifconfig.co shows the pfsense VM is not going through the vpn tunnel as it is showing the non-vpn ip.
