  • Transferring music off of an iPhone to another device?
On Windows, there is a tool you can download called iExplorer by Macroplant. It's 40$ for a license, but the free demo let's you do up to 10 songs at a time. Hope this helps anyone! Source: about 1 year ago

  • [HELP] I used to have jailbreak, and I got the thing to prevent updates, now my phone is updated to 15.5 and I constantly get the error "Unable to check for system update"
I honestly haven't done anything like that in a minute. You can try iMazing, that would be my first choice. If not, maybe iExplorer, iBackupBot, or iPhoneBackupExtractor. All of these will let you edit the backup, I just don't know which will let you browse the whole file system so you can clear out that specific folder. Hope this helps. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Need help capturing long text message conversation for printing
IExplorer works really well for Iphone. It backs up the entire phone and allows you to explore the backup files individually and you can export full text message chain to PDF. It does cost a nominal fee, but I've found that it works well enough to be worth it. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Backing up and transferring Android -> iOS
After the transfer of SMS to the iPhone is done and you want to have tools to manage them (export to text/csv/pdf, get details such as SMS count or date of the first/last SMS for each conversation, advanced filters, etc), you can use iMazing or iExplorer. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Importing Text Conversations from Mobile to Computer?
Apple: PC App (connects through USB). Source: over 2 years ago
  • In internal memo, Apple addresses concerns around new Photo scanning features
Just an aside as we all discuss iCloud storage of photos, etc. ... I don't back up anything to iCloud. Instead, I connect my iPhone to my laptop and run the excellent "iExplorer" utility from Macroplant[1]. This allows me to browse my iPhone like a filesystem and copy off all of the photos/videos to a directory where I can then rsync them to my local fileserver. You can also dump iMessages and notes and... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
  • Apple plans to scan U.S. iPhones for child abuse imagery
You can if you have an app like iExplorer or the one Wondershare makes. Last I tried however it's not a native part of the iTunes or whatever it is now app. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Q: How can I save an entire i-message conversation?
You can use a tool called iExplorer to save the messages. It’s been a while since I used it but I think it works by you backing your phone up to your computer and then giving it access to the backup. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • [question] can I get the photos of an iPad when they are in the recently deleted folder?
Maybe this post can help: link. You could try using iExplorer to access the file system which might require doing a backup but it might just be quicker to jailbreak though and use filza. Source: about 3 years ago
  • OGG Vorbis or Opus, which one should i choose?
I use it on my iPhone, with the foobar2000 app as my player. I use foobar2000 on my desktop to transcode my lossless files to Opus, VBR at ~85 kbps. They actually come out to anywhere from about 70 to 115 kbps, and are universally transparent for me. I transfer the files to the phone's foobar2000 data folder using iExplorer, which for this purpose works fine in demo mode. Source: about 3 years ago
  • [Question] Snapchat Natural Dark Mode.
If she still has dark mode and could be jailbroken, I noticed when I go to the Snapchat app in Filza I found a file that mentions dark mode. To get to it, click the star (on the bottom bar of Filza), then Apps Manager, then find the Snapchat folder. From there under “Library”, then “Preferences”, click on “com.toyopagroup.picaboo.plist”, then expand “Root” (just click on it), then after expand... Source: about 3 years ago

The Best iPhone Transfer & Manager Software for 2022
If you are asking whether iExplorer does the job, the answer is yes. Once set up, iExplorer offers a decent set of features. However, the lack of advanced features is noticeable. Think of iExplorer as a version of iTunes that has a better UI and fewer bugs inside. iExplorer is available for Windows and macOS, and the basic license starts at $39.99.
Hands-on: Four Mac apps to transfer voicemail, other files from your iPhone
iExplorer is the first of the three software packages available for both Mac and Windows, and it's probably my favorite after PhoneView. iExplorer also allows you to choose between different devices connected to your computer, and it looks better than most of the other cross-platform options. Though, as you'll see, the bar is relatively low.
