For another great option in this space look at icomoon: https://icomoon.io/#icons. It has both free and paid fonts with some useful tools to build a custom set from different collections and export them to various formats. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Custom template icons are not really possible. The icons are actually a graphical font, not images like .png, and this font is modified by reMarkable and embedded within the Xochitl binary. It is technically possible to replace it, but you would have to ensure its new length is fewer than its original bytes. It's really a lot of hassle for very little payoff because you need to re-do the work for each subsequent... Source: 10 months ago
This might help to create icon packs and collaborate on them https://icomoon.io. Source: 10 months ago
I've used https://icomoon.io/ and it seems to do well. Source: 10 months ago
If you're interested in the one icon, save it as a PNG, if you want the pack then I don't think an import will be possible. Try going to icon moon and downloading your own custom pack. https://icomoon.io/. Source: about 1 year ago
Are you tired of using icoMoon to maintain your SVG icons? While it's a great tool for managing icons, its user interface can leave much to be desired. On top of that, you may be looking to reduce your dependency on third-party tools. If so, a CDN could be the perfect solution. - Source: dev.to / over 1 year ago
By the font technique: I upload my SVG files in a tool like IcoMoon and it generates a font file that I can integrate in the Font part of Webflow. Then I just have to insert the character corresponding to my icon in a Text Block and I can modify all values (size and color) as I want. Source: over 1 year ago

Updated. Since I mentioned a website I looked inside one of the SVG I found it was made by https://icomoon.io/ which was a big help :D. Source: over 1 year ago
I had to convert more than one thousand SVG files from stroke to path. That's because IcoMoon.io can't handle SVG files with strokes. Instead you have to provide the SVG files for your font containing only path elements. - Source: dev.to / almost 2 years ago
Or you can add all possible ligatures to the icon when you create your font (with tools like icomoon), this is accessible alright, but bloats the icon font file. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
In case you have multiple small images (icons like images) that are used across the website, you can bundle them together using apps like Icomoon App. This will decrease the amount of request as well as the total size. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
Remember image sprites? Iconfonts as a technique came after image sprites for single-payload single-color icon sets. Before frameworks like react or powerful site generators it made sense to align your icons and marks with your typographic layout - browsers werent always so nice so this kept things on 'some' guardrails. Plus services like IcoMoon emerged which made creating custom icon sets easy. - Source: dev.to / about 2 years ago
Thanks Kenny! Your stuff is awesome. I am trying to convert this to a font though using icomoon.io or https://www.fluttericon.com/ and it's not accepting the SVG format. Any ideas on what I might need to do? Source: over 2 years ago
It will assign a new font to the extension. Then you may use an icon font, such as Font Awesome, Icofont or icomoon (which also allows you to create your own!). You can then change the workspace names with dconf-editor with the characters from the font. PM me if you need any help :). Source: over 2 years ago

In various subtle ways. Or not. It's up for a court to decide, if it ever gets there. IcoMoon also licenses its fonts: https://icomoon.io/#icons-lindua/license. - Source: Hacker News / about 3 years ago
@expo/vector-icons allow the use of customized fonts or subsets of fonts created with Fontello or Icomoon. Unfortunately, these sites don't work with MaterialCommunityIcons. - Source: dev.to / about 3 years ago
