  • Just finished migrating my old tower servers to a Kubernetes cluster on my new rack!
For my accounting I use Akaunting, though I am planning on maybe moving to ERPNext. - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • Dynamics 365 Business Central VS Odoo: Which suits you better?
There seems to me to be a sweet spot in the development of an ERP where the technology on which it is based is not yet obsolete but the application itself has had the time to mature. I hope that one day ERPNext will have it's moment - but that day is not today! - Source: Reddit / 2 months ago
  • ERP to manage inventory and manufacturing for an eComm business
Check out ERPNext. It’s great in and of itself but they also have a Shopify integration. - Source: Reddit / 4 months ago
  • Switching from Quickbooos Enterprise to Netsuite - your experience?
Frappebooks.com or erpnext.com might do just fine - depending on your needs. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago

Have a look at Odoo or ERPNext. They sound like they might fit the bill and both can be self-hosted. - Source: Reddit / 5 months ago
  • Self hosted general maintenance software
Erpnext.com (opensource, they also offer their commerical services), however, you can manage assets including maintenance: https://docs.erpnext.com/docs/v13/user/manual/en/asset/asset-maintenance. - Source: Reddit / 8 months ago

Take a look at ERP Next--It's an open source, python backend, ERP system. https://erpnext.com/. - Source: Reddit / 10 months ago
  • Software for worker cooperatives
Seems like this would fit as part of an ERP, as usually that is where your balance sheet and other financial matters are held. A module for ERPNext (open source), in the same veins as the existing shareholder one would be great I think. - Source: Reddit / 10 months ago
  • Quicken Alternative
I'm not 100% sure if it has exactly what you are looking for (although I'm pretty sure it does) but check our ERPNext, it's a full ERP but you can just use the accounting function and I am certain it has this feature I just haven't used it in awhile so I can't check to make sure. It's open source and self hosted https://erpnext.com/. - Source: Reddit / 10 months ago
  • Open-Source Alternative for CPQ (Configure, Price & Quote) Software?
I've been looking for similar solutions, but for signage. My most recent find is ERPNext. It may be worth looking into. - Source: Reddit / 10 months ago

This sever will be used in school's computer lab, which houses 90 Windows PCs Purpose of the server: - FOG Sever [for Image Deployment] - SQL sever [MySQL or PostgreSQL] - Kubernetes [for Students' Lab works, and hosting ERP as well] - Self-hosted ERP tool [will be using opensource ERPNext, and will be deployed on Kubernetes] - Cockpit (probably if need). - Source: Reddit / 12 months ago
  • CRM for a freelancer / for software related companies
So far I found Chatwoot, CiviCRM, Corteza, ERPNext, EspoCRM, Dolibarr, Odoo, OroCRM, Mautic, SuiteCRM and X2CRM and there are probably even much more available. It seems that Odoo and ERPNext are huge but also very flexible (with many extensions available). - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
  • Can anyone recommend some home management software?
I would also suggest looking into ERPNext as another option -- it basically does a similar thing to Odoo. It is powerful but simple to get started with, so might be a good entry point for you if you do eventually decide to take that path. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
  • Most used ERP software in Indonesia Firms?
ERPNext looks promising, they also can be self-hosted. Kinda underrated IMO. - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
  • Looking for logistics management companies
Re Reading your post it and this comment it sounds like what you are after is an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning). If you give more information on your company size, number of locations, number of products and most importantly budget I might be able to help make a suggestion. This software really ranges in price. ERPnext is open source and can be as low as 40$ per month using Digital Ocean as the host or can go... - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago
  • Kanban program alternatives to Trello that respect my privacy
I use Trello regularly and I’ve heard that it violates privacy. To what degree is that statement true? Assuming that Trello does violate my privacy, what alternatives would you recommend that I use? I would prefer a Kanban board type of software that allows me to import my Trello boards and cards into itself, but that’s not strictly necessary. I would like to have the ability to add labels, checklists, and due... - Source: Reddit / about 1 year ago

  • Inventory management system for a shop that makes custom products
Like someone else mentioned you might need an ERP. I like https://www.odoo.com/ I did an install a couple of years ago, but when evaluating https://erpnext.com/ was a close second. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
  • Open Source rental manager
Ok so next I would say look into ERPNext. I believe they are an Indian team so the product may be focused on that side of the world. I know there is a docker image you can mess around with but I have never installed it. They do seem to have stock management but I don't know what you need nor am I familiar enough with their product to be helpful. - Source: Reddit / over 1 year ago
