As far as I can tell, they block a specific, narrow range of frequencies of light between red and green to make the colors easier to distinguish. • Our TV has no colorblind settings, fiance is deutan colorblind. So I studied the colors of deutan and we spent only about 30mins together in advanced settings to make the TV as proper color for him as possible according to him. He asked to see his favorite actors first. He's SO HAPPY.

• Help with diagnosis

  I'm totally sure I have colorblindness since I've done some tests and yep, I definitely have it. Thing is, when doing the enchroma.com test I've been given different results all the time. All point out to the fact that I'm a protan, however, the severity changed between tests, sometimes it has said I'm a mild protan while others it said I'm a strong protan. Source: almost 2 years ago

• Colourblind glasses

  I only know two brands of color correction glasses. EnChroma and Pilestone, both being very expensive as the glasses in general are expensive. EnChroma has higher quality frames but only work on Deuteranomaly and Protanomaly type CVD; Pilestone has simpler frames (still good quality) but works on the three main types of CVD.
