It's already being used for that! I use a program called [DungeonDraft](https://dungeondraft.net/) for easily creating maps for TTRPGS and it's built on top of Godot (see the modding API page where they mention Godot). - Source: Hacker News / 4 months ago
Dungeondraft and Dungeon Scrawl for dungeon maps (ideally after I draw them out on grid paper first). Source: 7 months ago
The Maps are made with DungeonDraft and the Assets of Forgotten Adventures & Krager's Shadow Pack. Source: 8 months ago
Two, it incentivizes me to be best I can be, as I can as well as enabling me to more easily afford things like Dungeondraft or Inkarnate to create custom maps or battles for you guys! Also I kinda need more food money lol. Source: 10 months ago

When the maps have too much to be altered or I'm more in the creative mood, I use dungeondraft to make my own maps. Here is an example. Source: 10 months ago
Hi there! I know that many use Dungeondraft as Map Making Software and I can recommend it! Source: 10 months ago
My personal preference for map building is Dungeondraft. It's like 20 bucks and I think there's some assets available for free on the internet if you care to look. Although the default style is pretty decent. Source: 10 months ago
Azgaar's Fantasy Map Generator for generating world maps, and Inkarnate for battlemaps (or if you'd prefer to draw your world map by hand). Another really popular bit of mapping software is DungeonDraft, though I'm not super familiar with it. Lastly, GIMP is a powerful open source image editor, though it has a bit of a learning curve. FoundryVTT - Even if you run an all paper game, I would recommend using it for campaign planning. It has everything you could want. I love the way it handles notes. It's super easy to use. Switched to it from Roll20 and never looked back.Dungeondraft - One of the best map making tools I've found. Pretty easy to use (does take some learning though). I had been using Inkarnate, but Inkarnate is terrible... Source: 11 months ago
I use Dungeondraft for my maps and often use the Sci Fi Assets by NotaSnark. You can also find other free (and not free) assets and complete battle maps at Cartography Assets. Source: 11 months ago
I'm using this set of BX Icons from Cartographty Assets in Dungeondraft. I would strongly recommend both, as the creator of the assets seems lovely from chatting to them and Dungeondraft has been my go-to tools for mapmaking since lockdown started and my TTRPG experience went digital. This is my recreation of the Chapter 12: Neronvain's Stronghold map. It was made in Dungeondraft using Crosshead Studio Assets and exported for use in Foundry VTT. Feel free to use it for your own campaign. (Dungeondraft & Universal VTT Files). Source: 11 months ago
Make my own stuff in Dungeondraft. I also use a bunch of assets from Forgotten Adventures . That all makes it very, very easy to make very professional looking maps. Source: 12 months ago
I've used a handful and Inkarnate has been my go to for reference maps. For battle maps I use dungeon draft. Source: 12 months ago
I use Dungeondraft. There are some good SciFi assets available for it, though I drew my own which are specifically designed for Traveller: Https://cartographyassets.com/creator/notasnark/. Source: 12 months ago
I know I could install Dungeondraft on my Steam Deck when running Windows, but is it possible to install Dungeondraft on my Steam Deck when in "Desktop Mode" of the SteamOS? I know Dungeondraft specifically says "Ubuntu" as one of the OSes it supports, but SteamOS is based on Debian Jessie. I've tried to research how much different Jessie is from Ubuntu, but I'm not having much luck. Source: 12 months ago
You can make your own with Dungeon Draft (https://dungeondraft.net/) using modern asset packs:. Source: 12 months ago
