I practice DS and algo with my friend online, and I use Drawing app(https://maoschanz.github.io/drawing/) to draw the diagrams using my wacom one graphic tablet. I am able to de decent job but it's no way near OneNote (which I use sometime when I am on Windows using same wacom tablet). Source: over 3 years ago

Bummer! For Paint replacements you could try Gimp or Drawing maybe if you haven't already. Gimp is awesome, might be more than your looking for. Drawing is newer and more like old Paint but is still pretty nice. Source: over 3 years ago
