If you don't already have a credit card, get one. If you don't have a good credit score, you will have trouble getting a mortgage, and getting a good credit score takes time. If you don't have a credit score already, you may need to get a secured credit card. I recommend discover.com as a place to get a good secured card, and they will convert it to their normal card once your credit rating is better. (In about... Source: 10 months ago
Discover.com has secured cards, and will convert them to normal credit cards when your score rises enough. That's a good place to start out. Source: 10 months ago
No need to apply through credit karma. Go to discover.com and find their pre-approval tool. You can first see if you're pre-approved for any of their cards with no harm to your credit score. Source: 11 months ago
FICO scores - looked in experian.com and its listed as 749 (Fico 8). Cross verified it with discover.com and it lists it as 755 (but it says it got that from TU). Another intersting this is experian.com is showing my credit limit as 10k. I checked at annualcreditreport.com (i know this is not FICO but still) and all of them are showing my credit line as 10k. I believe this is me being due to an authorizied user on... Source: 11 months ago
I'd recommend discover.com as a good place to start. Source: 12 months ago

I am slightly freaking out because I just applied for the Discover It Student Card and was immediately approved (is that normal?) It keeps taking me to discovercard.com instead of discover.com and now I'm concerned that it is not the actual and legitimate company. Sorry if this question sounds silly! I am but a mere 20 year old college student. Source: almost 2 years ago
When I compare them to the statements from discover.com it seems like they often appear in the same places where there would be a message like "You're next payment of XY is due a/b/c". Source: about 2 years ago

I'm not trying to be rude or pass judgement here, but 300 is the absolute bottom of the FICO score range. If you truly have a 300 or so FICO score, you will have an extremely difficult if not impossible time getting credit extended to you, or it will be at the most extreme predatory rates allowed by law. Are you certain this is your credit score range? There are several free options online to check your credit... Source: over 2 years ago
I am a rank amateur when it comes to about:config setting changes, but I have noticed that banking portals (e.g. chase.com, discover.com) no longer function when following the privacytoolsIO about:config settings for Firefox. Source: almost 3 years ago
My current due date is the 15th of every month and under my profile it says that I am signed up for automatic payments. For the past 3 months, I have noticed that there has not been an automatic withdraw in my banking account on the statement's payment due date. I end of having to go onto discover.com and pay manually. I usually do this 7ish days after the payment due date. Source: almost 3 years ago
